Pasta Bolognese

a bowl of spaghetti bolognaise

Ingredients

125g pasta [about a quarter of the pack]

Salt

1 tbsp Oil

1 Onion diced

Minced Beef / Quorn mince

Pasta sauce

30gm Cheddar Cheese grated [handful]

Method

  1. Add pasta and a good pinch of salt, to a pan of water and boil until cooked [do not overcook the pasta] see packet instruction’s
  2. Meanwhile, add a little oil in another pan and cook the onions and beef or quorn mince until cooked
  3. Add your pasta sauce to the mince and onions, mix well.
  4. Carefully drain the water away from the pasta, and put into your serving dish.
  5. Pour over the cooked mince onto the pasta.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese.
