Fancy building your strength and fitness? Our high-intensity fitness class is perfect for that!
What you can expect - Our experienced instructor Jenn will take you through a series of exercises designed to get your heart rate up and gain strength. It is a circuit style training with different exercises for the whole body. This will definitely help you reach your fitness goals! The class is really friendly and despite the title, you don’t need previous experience, just the motivation to do your best! Jenn has lots of experience working with different sports clubs as well as running fitness sessions so you will be in safe hands.
Where: High Tor 2 at Endcliffe (The Edge). Please use the side entrance (the same as the entrance to the Bar) and walk up the stairs past the Bar.
Time: Every Tuesday 6:15-7:15 pm. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to make sure that you can check into the room. Residence Mentor will be there to check attendance.
Cost: £1 (The £1 goes back to Residence Life Programme to fund more awesome activities)
What you need: We provide exercise mats. Make sure that you wear comfy clothes and bring a water bottle. Please come already changed into the clothes that you will be exercising in.
Covid-19: Please help us keep everyone safe by following the guidelines below.
You will be handed wipes at the start of the class. Please use these wipes to clean your exercise mat before and after each session. You can then return the wipes back to the Residence Mentor.
Track and Trace- Please download the Track and Trace app and scan the app upon arrival to the building. The code is located at the reception before you walk up the stairs.
Please follow social distancing guidelines all throughout the session
Do not exercise within 2 metres of anyone
You do not need to wear a mask when you are exercising. Please wear a mask when you meet with the group or are inside the building
Sanitise your hands before and after each session. Hand sanitiser can be found at High Tor rooms
Please note that you will not be able to turn up without booking
