Come and take part in our eggs-cellent Easter Egg Hunts, one in Ranmoor/Endcliffe and the other across City accommodation and the campus from this Friday!
You may be familiar with the tradition of going on an Easter Egg Hunt, which is popular in this country at this time of year. We will be hosting our very own self-guided Residence Life Easter Egg Hunts between Friday 17 March - Friday 31 March. You will be able to collect clue sheets at any time during this period.
Using the clue sheet, search for all the Residence Life eggs and note down the letter written on each one. Once complete, unscramble the letters to form mystery words and return your clue sheet in exchange for a free chocolate treat - you will still receive chocolate even if you don't finish the hunt as it's the taking part that counts! All correct entries will be put into a prize draw to win a chocolate hamper!
There will be two trails to choose from - City and Campus and Ranmoor/Endcliffe - and you can choose to complete one of them or both! Tip: if you complete both trails, you'll get double the chocolate and a greater chance of winning the hamper.
City and Campus Easter Egg Hunt
Collect a clue sheet from your Residence Mentor, the Residence Mentor drop-in hours or from the Allen Court reception desk. Then search for Residence Life Easter Eggs, which will be pinned up in various locations within the City Residences, as well as various departments across the campus. This is a great opportunity to discover more about the support services that are offered by the University. Return your clue sheet to Allen Court reception desk.
Ranmoor/Endcliffe Easter Egg Hunt
Collect a clue sheet from your Residence Mentor, the Residence Mentor drop-in hours or from The Edge Customer Services desk. Then search for Residence Life Easter Eggs, which will be pinned up in various locations across Ranmoor/Endcliffe. You may discover new parts of Ranmoor/Endcliffe that you never knew existed! Return your clue sheet to The Edge Customer Services desk.
You can complete the trails either on your own or as a team and you can have as many people in the team as you want! So why not take part and have an eggs-citing time!
